A sample of the drawing I was working on the past two days. These two dragons are part of the border work of my current project. One eastern, one western. After they are complete, the next two dragons will be my interpretation of northern and southern dragons. The northern will take more of a nordic influence, while the southern will likely resemble the plumed serpent quezacotl.
4 dragons for each of the basic element work, as the main figure of the Terraphim shall be riding the dragon of the 5th element.

Those are gorgeous! I have a (very) soft spot for eastern dragonslove the amount of detail you’ve included. Can’t wait to see the remaining three.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Eastern dragons myself. They were so much more regal and wisdom based, comparatively speaking the western dragons of fearsome might and greed, where my genetic lineage comes from. The dragons of a region are inherently tied to the culture that reveres them, which makes for easier drawing and storytelling, as one merely need look to the collected history of a region to get a semblance of the dragons characteristics.
