Simple testing. Taking the Chaosphere from the center of  the Evocation of the Shadow Self, I was simply playing around with alternative backdrops. The first was bloody, a biological liquid in grayscale. 

Then I wanted something a bit more digital, to better bridge the gap between biological and technological systems.

In the final one, the more technological backing was complete, making me a happy camper.

As a dabbler in Transhuman pursuits, watching the technology evolve to the point where human beings are able to augment themselves into more ideal forms, this theme is a major aspects of my personal philosophies and artwork.

As I finish up the writing of a few technology based chapters for Liber Terraphim, going with the flow of the chaos has opened me up to ideas and concepts I would not have found otherwise.
